Ailments
Back pains represent more than two thirds of all pain cases and meanwhile have developed into a full-fledged widespread disease. There are many different causes for this: There are patients with problems from individual deterioration, flawed bodily posture, hereditary predispositions or caused by to incorrect movements. Emotional problems can also cause pain.
Often, problems can be attributed to a determined section of the spinal column of the neck, chest or of the neck, chest or loin spinal column. In certain cases, the pain spreads to the legs, arms, chest or the back of the head. There can also be tension, cramps and limitations of mobility. Prickling, sensation of numbness, muscle atrophy, sleep disorders, irritability, depressive moods, urination disorders and – although rarely – sexual disorders can also develop partially.
Very often, medical professionals treat symptoms for years without an accurate diagnosis, thereby failing to eliminate the causes of the problems. Multiple operations or operations performed too fast can foster, in some cases, the development of concrescences and instability, which, on their turn, provoke pain. For this reason, in our clinic, we have detailed conversations with patients, assess the problems from an interdisciplinary point of view, if necessary, and determine an accurate diagnosis. Then we establish the appropriate forms of therapy with you.
On the following pages, we will give you an overview of back problems and the possibilities to treat them.
